Join us to learn about Adventist Health's Student Healthcare Leaders, a program targeted at local high school students that are interested in a variety of roles in the healthcare setting. The program gives the students access to departments including Lab, Imaging, Surgery, Nursing, Facilities Management and more.
We will be meeting in the Garden Room in the Lower Level, accessible from the main entrance of the hospital.
On Second Wednesdays, our Government and Economic Affairs Committee (GEAC) hosts the meeting and brings important presentations to the table. We'd also like to extend a thank you to Morningstar at Laurelhurst for allowing us to use their meeting room each month!
For July's meeting, we are excited to invite a representative of the Mayor's office to share some updates on his time in office so far. Stay tuned for more details.

EPCC is excited to offer this Education Series on first Wednesdays. We kicked things off with a 3 part series about crafting a business plan; next we will dive into business logistics.
August's Education Series will focus on financial basics. Whether you are just getting started as a business or you are ready for a refresher, this will be important information for you!
First, we will welcome Sandra Vincent with The Bookkeeping Company to give us a bookkeeping 101 presentation. She will cover things like getting started with bookkeeping, working with a CPA, and prepping for tax season.
Then we will hear from Jocelyn Furbush with Livelihood NW. Jocelyn's presentation will give you financial empowerment. She will walk us through how to understand and use your Profit and Loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
