EPCC Ed Series, Hands-On AI: Working Through Real Applications for Your Business (August 05, 2026)

EPCC is excited to continue our Education Series on first Wednesdays in the afternoons. Join us each month for a different educational workshop designed to support small business owners and managers.

Join David Baer for The Prepared Group & NW Business Advisors for a hands-on working session focused on putting AI to practical use in your business. Rather than a lecture, this is a roll-up-your-sleeves workshop where we’ll cover general principles and then work through as many real-world examples as time allows.

To get the most out of the session, please come prepared:

Bring a laptop.
Have an active account on whatever AI platform you’d like to use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
Bring one specific question you’d like to work through for your business — a real challenge or area where you want to understand how AI can help.

We’ll discuss the fundamentals of using AI effectively, then dive into your questions and practical applications together. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how to put AI to work in the areas that matter most to you.

GEAC: D4 City Councilors (August 12, 2026)

On Second Wednesdays, our Government and Economic Affairs Committee (GEAC) hosts the meeting and brings important presentations to the table. We'd also like to extend a thank you to Cherrywood Village for allowing us to use their board room each month!

For this meeting, we have invited our City Councilors from District 4 to hear about their successes and challenges since taking office last year. Plus - bring your questions because we will reserve time for Q&A.
