Did you know that Mt. Hood Community College alumni contributed $350 million to our local community last year? Find out how the MHCC Bond would support East Portland’s future.
It’s been 50 years since Mt. Hood Community College last passed a bond measure. In that time, our community has grown, a college education has changed dramatically, and MHCC facilities have aged. Now MHCC is on our May ballots with a proposed bond measure that would bring $136 million to support the college with critical infrastructure projects at an estimated cost of 25 cents / $1000 of assessed value.
Join us on Wednesday to hear from college leaders about the bond. Get specifics on how upgrading 1970’s era buildings will impact workforce training, small business development, and our local economy. Whether you’re a business leader, educator, or advocate for our region’s future, we encourage you to attend, learn more, and ask questions. Your voice and engagement are key to helping our community thrive.
